3 Morning papers and 1 Afternoon paper. A total of 11 hours of exams and final semester starts in 2 weeks.
Nearly 2 weeks of being sick. :( Felt so tired and this week I am very much better so I decided to do a little bit of exercise after 2 weeks. Slow but picking up. Thank you to those who has been praying and checking in on me. =) Thank u to my beloved parents and siblings who took me to the doctor 3 times. -Muaxs-
I was sitting in the train yesterday for my ride home. I saw this old man quite old he seems lost as he stood and check the station name each time the door opened. I wanted to go up and ask him but then again just felt afraid. Scared we don't speak the same language and I can't communicate with him. So, I started to pray that someone will ask him and help him out. Finally the girl next to me got up and walk over. She pretty much doesnt know her direction and couldn't help him much but because she spoke quite loud the others in the train heard and people start helping. I felt so ashamed, at least she has the guts. Respect her, though uncertain she stood up.
Ok, this is totally unrelated to the above. I was watching the cartoons a while ago and I realised that mostly had heroes in it. So, I started thinking about heroes. I noticed that almost every show had a hero in it or should I say all. Some are direct some indirect. I realised that its not just in shows that everyone needs a hero but even in real life. Heroes can come in different forms. Well, the most common fairy tale come alive in reality is A knight in shinning armour on a white horse where the princess or girls wait for someone to rescue them. Just look around today's society even married couples usually when a problem comes they call their hubbies. Then to some is their parents. When things go beyond what we can bear especially financially :) we turn to our ATM's. Taking things one step further, I remembered during the Pre U CG forum when they had people from different faith to sit on the panel. Someone said that religion is a crutch. In a way I believe it is but don't we all need a hero? Question is, is the hero real? Trustworthy? Able to help? Like the sunday school song. Jesus is My super hero.

Moving on, another unrelated thing. Just want to release words. Sometimes I wish I am able to spend time with people and really get to know them and be present physically, mentally and etc. Quite frustrating sometimes when you have to come up with plans and sort it according to priorities. It has been ages since I talked with my ex-schoolmates, my diploma classmates and also the CFers. Even with the group of people that are around me now it seems impossible to get to know them a little bit more. Sometimes sacrifice is needed, playing less, sleeping less, study less but I guess this is life. Anyway like I was talking with my friend one of the afternoon after class I am living each day to the best I can utilise it. Its the best that I can do. I am trying to maximise each day that I have. My deepest apologies to all my friends for not being a very good friend. Like what Lyn says being a Touch N Go friend. Hopefully I don't become a SMART tag friend. :( Gals thanks for being ever so patient with me. To the rest out there thanks for still keeping in touch with me and counting me in on things even when I don't deserve them. =)

Gary Leon Robert went missing after completing a 22km marathon (Adidas King of the Road) around Shah Alam Stadium organized by none other than Adidas Malaysia. On Monday (3rd August 2009), his body was found in the Stadium basement. The cause of his death is dehydration*, however we believe that perhaps the real cause of his death is negligent.
Participating a run may seem harmless, but in the light of his death we need to take steps to improve the facilities which sport event organizers provide and the care which paramedics give.
The Mayor of Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam said the Gary was given the best medical treatment. If he had, he would still be here with us.
Gary's friends and family are dying for answers and they want the Sports Ministry to have an inquiry on his death.
To do so, they need support from the public. Please help us out and click on the site. (I believe my friends are doing up a petition via the website)
*unless he has an inherent biological condition in him which lead to him dying from a thirst, his death was SO avoidable
Last words: What we want is to have safe venues, proper facilities and health care for sportswomen/men. The more people hear of his story, 'perhaps' organizers and care-providers will pull their socks up.
It such a tragedy to see such a thing happening at such a prestigious event. More people should be aware of it and that the ministry should ensure that organizers who organize such events should be more responsible.

Was reading an article last night and I decided to blog about it. After all I'm home bound for the time being.
If you look closely at the world there is a great need for relationship be it BGR, father and child, friends, lecturers and students and even with God. Ever wondered why if we have no relationship in this world we have a sense of lost? Simply because we were made for relationship. Yups that is right.
Jesus wasn't kidding when He said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself'" (Matthew 22:37-39).
In Genesis 1:26, "God said, 'Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.’ "As the Trinity — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — God is One, and He exists in complete unity. He is also a completely social being who enjoys an eternally perfect, loving and holy relationship between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Because He made us like himself, we also hunger to know such a perfect relationship.
Though human relationships will never be perfect this side of heaven, they are essential to our well-being because He created us to relate to others. As we grow in our relationship with God and with others, we will see how God's nature, unity and unselfish love create successful relationships.
Well, I guess its every girls dream to have a prince charming riding on the white horse sweeping her off her feet and off to a begining of a new life. However, I guess today's world seem to take the preciousness and lower the value of such a relationship. Its almost as seem that getting involve in a relationship is a disaster. Lots of marriage collapsing. Some not even marrying but is it really worth waiting or to just get caught up with the fast turn of society and have a MCD's relationship.
Recently I have been watching movies in my room and watching tv. The message is the same. Almost everything that is in these entertainment media has to do with BGR. Society today seem to stress a lot on such a relationship but really is it just like what is displayed on the shows we watch?
Let me bring your attention to having God in the picture. If you want maybe you can grab your own copy of Asian Beacon Feb-Mac 09 issue from MPH, Popular or Borders. In it you will find the story of Subang Jaya Assembly Woman Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan. You will see how she found her husband in such a wonderful God planned way. Certainly one way you never imagine it to be. Simply by just relying on God and allowing Him to bring that special someone. Just a little teaser she was still single in May and had a marriage proposal in June.
So for those of you out there who is slightly desperate or hope may seem cloudy. God works in miracalous ways. Don't think HE can't provide the best for you. =) Get out and make the best out of life. Leave the finding to Him.

It has been a long long while since I last recalled being sick. Of course there is the usual cold once in a while but we are living in Malaysia of course we are prone to that due to the weather condition.
Well, started fine yesterday. Attending a training. All seems fine except for a little wind in the body that was quite normal I would say for me. Walk around, killing time and getting to know new friends in Mid Valley. Tired definitely but quite energetic still. Ate good and hot Bak Kut Teh with the group of TARCians who attended the training as well and then attended the launch. Was fine for the first half an hour and horror struck.
Could not sit still in my seat. Fidgeting all around. Cold even though I was in a very thick and warm sweater. The trainer was good but nothing entered really. Just hoping I didn't puke at my new found friend. Time seem to past so slowly and finally I decided I had to get out of the air-cond room. Trust me it was cold to the bones ache.
Thank God for friends. Got help from a church friend to drive everyone home (as I was suppose to drive but due to the terrible headache it was quite impossible to drive). Manage to get everyone safely home got my beloved family all worried. Calling every once in a while to find out where I was, most probably gave the driver pressure to drive even faster and finally at half past 11 I was in the arms of my sisters who took over the driver seat and drove me straight to the hospital where my dad was awaiting.
A long long wait (2 hours plus) in the hospital (mind you not goverment hospital, was a private specialist hospital) but yet they had so few doctors on duty and lots and lots of sick patients. The children sound which would have sound pleasant and some time was quite irritating with the spliting headache. Certainly they have to improve their services. They were sweet and nice though the volume of people keep coming in (yea the number of sick people) but waiting so long???
My darling dad of course told me to sleep by the sofa and he waited for my number to be called. Drifted in and out from dreamland. Told my dad I feel even worse waiting and would actually prefer my bed at home but well he is quite persistant in his ways. Finally at 2.30am they called my number when in for about 10-15min given the presribe medication sent home to bed.
Could hardly stay awake took the cough syrup as it didn't require me to eat and slept. Woke up several times took my morning dose and slept till 1 plus in the afternoon. A few hours of being awake and it was another round of sleeping till 5plus in the evening. Certainly lots of sleeping going on. Its 7 something now. Time for my next dose. :) Getting much better.
Quite disspointed that I had to miss the training I was looking forward too. Hmmm.....

Run For The Nation or RunNat is a single morning running event that sees Christians praying as they run throughout selected areas in the city or town where the event is held.
RunNat 2009 will be a nationwide event involving all 14 state capitals in the country. The Prayer Run will be held simultaneously throughout the country with the guidance and leadership of each state’s RunNat Committee.
Anyone who professes Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour can take part in RunNat. Previous running experience is not required. However, training for the event is highly recommended for the Prayer Run to be effective
