Guess who was in town?? PHILIP YANCEY!! Such a privilege to be able to attend the 2 days conference at FGAKL. His books were one of the first few Christian books I actually read when I was still in school.

Anyway, the conference was about Growing in Grace? When I first saw the title of the conference I wasn't so keen but because he was speaking I had to go check it out but I am totally glad I did. Firstly, I thought it was a seminar about the Grace that God has for us. (of course it was as well) I was wondering, 2 days on Grace? haahaa that's coz I thought I knew all about Grace.

To keep it short, I left the seminar re-thinking about my role in the kingdom of God. Strangely enough, all he did was to just tell story after story and now I see the power of testimonies. :) I am glad that my one day leave was put to good use and yes I was close up with him and even had a photo with both him and his wife.

Now! Time for more reading since my sister bought the newest book!! Hehe!

Spotlight on GE13

I did my very first presentation to a group of senior people last week. Well it was meant to be a briefing but I ended up chairing the meeting with several key people in the organisation. 

It felt like Uni presentation alright. Hmm.. 

Anyway, enough about work on my mind for now, the center stage is GE13. The moment we Malaysians have been waiting for. More so for me because it is my first time voting! It gives me an exam feel really. I have butterflies in my stomach just thinking about GE. Am wondering whether I'll tick the right box? Whether I might accidentally spoil my vote. Ahh...... Who says it is that easy to vote? =)

But much excitement is moving about in the country. I can only pray that we will vote for the right people who has the caliber and the heart to serve the 'rakyat'. People's who's passion is to champion the betterment of Malaysia and to bring about good for the 'rakyat of Malaysia'. 

It is not about the Party because in every crate of apples, it is almost a sure thing that there will be bad apples. It is about choosing the right apples! 

In less than a month, will the course of Malaysia change through this one election? Well, it all depends on what the rakyat votes. Only, let not the disturbers bring chaos or manipulate votes. Let the 'rakyat' choose and decide. 

Rakyat Malaysia the decision is now in your hands. Let's choose with care!
