I have been cooking ever since I can't remember. Probably my mum will know. However, since going to college I have reduced my cooking time and shelf the pots, pans, and skills learned since we can't cook in hostel. Although I still did cook occasionally back at home. Well what below are a few of what I have been cooking. Simple, easy and fast dishes!

Contemplating whether I should separate what I am going to write in two post or one. I think I'll do one.

Starting on a more emotional note and hopefully ending with a happier one. (We all love happy endings don't we?)

I really hate getting results. I mean if you know you are good then maybe you wouldn't feel that way. However every time its time to get results I tend to get into a little frenzy. Sometimes I wonder whether is it because of the results or what people would think. I have always tried to live up to people's expectations on what they think I am and as much as I hate to admit it sometimes it gets a little too way out of hand. I really wish sometimes people wouldn't ask that it wouldn't really matter too much I supposed.

For eg the past one week has been a real torture everywhere I go I try to get my mind off the release of CIMA results and out someone reminds me about it. Today sitting in the theater I had calls and sms about what I get. Imagine sitting and laughing at the songs and suddenly you receive the a message you have been avoiding all week. "What did u get?" In fact I am rather afraid to go on facebook and also msn.

Ok I shall switch to another topic. I have been here for a month now and I think I am going to regret what I am about to say but I really miss home I really miss Daddy, Mummy, Che, May, Tjoe and Hou. Actually missing Rascal and Cyrus too. Wherever I go whatever I pick up I am reminded of them. I guess its most painful when they really are your best buddies when you do almost everything together. Although I get to chat with them on online and here them on skype or the phone I really wish I can put my hand in and pull them out. To my dear family : Please don't ever repeat this in front of me.... I miss you all much!!!! Love yeah.

Before I get too emotional, I shall move on.

Che I have to say that the show you recommended to me to watch its really D Bomb! I didn't know Laughter in the Rain was a song. Thats because I never really paid attention to song titles and for that matter, Neil Nekada? However, sitting in that theater I realise that those are the songs mum and dad sings. Mum, Dad I think you would probably love the show tonight! People there are all your age. They sang the famous songs such as Stupid Cupid, Oh Carol! Calendar Girl. Too many to recall them by memory.

Now a little bit of review, while waiting for the show to start since I was there 15min early I decided to do a little comparison between UK and Malaysia.

I have no prove or facts on this however from the past one month I just want to see how come UK people are known for being more courteous drivers than Malaysians and tada.... I think its because first they have more old folks behind the wheels. Seriously almost all the cars I stare into are old folks and usually this people are very patient. Second, I think its because they have less stress. Will explain that later

I went to the bank today and I thought the bank opened at 9am but actually it open at 9.30am. Anyway that's not the point. However, at 9am in the morning the roads are not really busy and people are still on their way to work. I am not sure whether this is just Sheffield or is it UK as a whole. In Malaysia, I remembered the times when I travel to work. Horrible! At 7am you are stuck in a load full of people in the train and by the time you reach your work place at 8am everyone is busy on their computers. Also I love UK where 4plus everybody starts walking to the train station on the way home. Malaysia well you probably reach home at around 8pm plus if you are lucky. Which explains why the people in UK have less stress.

The show today was awesome! Really rock the house. My first UK theater experience. It was full house and I think it was made up of mostly the older adults. Its nice that they sing, clap their hands, jump, and dance along. A very responsive crowd. In Malaysia I don't quite remember going for a performance where we did that without being told and even that not the whole hall moves along to it. People here eat gummies and not sweets before the presentation and during the intermission they eat ice-cream. (probably explains their sizes) However, I think its probably due to the weather while I was just feeling ok people around me were complaining that it was hot. Weird!

I notice that when the tickets says 7.45pm everyone is there by 7.40pm. Amazing! Thank God I am an early person. Imagine turning up late. ><

People here are really friendly. Wherever you go they will always smile and say hi or morning! We do that in Malaysia but either its out of responsibility or because we sort of know that person. Not to any tom, dick or harry. I always wondered why people say Cheers! Finally today I find out it originated from the UK and they don't say thanks but Cheers! Now I know why so many Malaysians companies ends with Cheers!

Well and the best part of the ending is walking back from Lyceum Theater to Charlotte is really safe. Plus the cool good weather that is so refreshing plus I didn't even have to pay a single sen for it. Always love happy endings. =)

Look at 12th of July 2010

All these really makes my time in Sheffield memorable and pleasant.

Attended the Traditional English Party while the rest of my friends went to Stone hedge. Well no regrets!

Nopes I did not get a taste of Tea which actually was to my pleasure because I don't really fancy tea brought my mineral water as back up however there was orange juice and blackcurrant juice as well =)

A very posh house. From the front it looks ordinary but the land space is big enough to play futsal. Has a big children playground like those you see on TV as well. It was a big hit not only with the children but also the adults. =)

No need to go all the way to the park when its just behind your house. It has a mini vegetable patch as well. I think I saw 'ang kut chai'

But the best part of the day was Mr.Andrew's little gal. Not to just say good comments about her but she's really a darling. Probably the brightest kid there. She's just so sociable and people friendly.

Saw a different side of Mr.Andrew. Have always seen him as the active, jolly always a youth but as a loving father was just so sweet. Ahh.... wish we had a longer time back at the tea party. Hopefully Mr.Andrew doesn't mind us playing and taking little Sophie away from him.

That didn't stop him from mingling around with the other students as well. He still managed to play with the rest!

I manage to try a little upper class English game as well

Oh how I miss playing floorball. This is more like bowling or golf. Requires accuracy, skill but not speed.

Our Malaysian friends made it to the final game! Not bad for first timers! =)

It was a good day out. Met with other international students from Sheffield. Chat with the locals and also the families and played with the children there. =) To sum it up it was AWESOME! Thanks Fulwood Church and thanks Mr.Andrew for inviting us along!

The STAR of the day!

Its really hard when you don't understand the people you are presenting your stuff too. I always feel understanding your audience would make presentation a lot simpler because you know what would please them with little effort. Since PASBD we don't really mix with your lecturers I can't really figure them out especially since we have a different lecture and presenting to another group of lecturers. To me I enjoy the challenge and I find it really satisfying if I can present in a way that suits the person listening.
