Last week I attended the prayer school in FGAKL. I have attended 3 modules and I have to say although initially I would have never imagined for signing up for something like that but since the first day I attended, I just have to keep going back each day.

Never have I thought that it would be possible to pray (not the casual kinda prayers) for an hour but thanks to the prayers school it is really nice just to pray. Its as if there's drugs in it that keeps you going even though the next day is going to be a real torture to stay awake at work.

It was a torture alright as I try to fight off sleep even while I am in the train. I dropped a few stuff as I slept of while standing in the train and would usually look up to see stares at me. Probably thinking what's wrong with that gal. Nevertheless, I can say that it has been worth it. I do hope to be able to keep up the momentum.

I know I have a long journey ahead. A tough one I'll put it but as long as the Lord is going to be by my side I'm going to keep going and walking this journey. I'm glad that He will never leave me nor forsake me so He will with me alright. If I fall, I'll just stand up and continue on. May He keep me under the shadow of His wings.

One of the testimonies that was really inspiring that was shared by Alice and Mark Godwin, Read on .....

We count it a privilege to have been given the opportunity to pour out our lives for the nations through prayer. Thirty-six years ago we began our ministry in Bogota Colombia. During that time through many different circumstances the Lord gave us a passion for prayer and a calling to change the nation through intercession. We began to pray alone and then five university students joined us each day from 3:00 to 8:00 PM.

This began an adventure that changed our lives. During these intense times in God’s presence, He would show us precise things to pray for. Sometimes we would even see the results of our prayers in the Sunday newspaper. He showed us specific judgments that were coming upon the nation of Colombia. One of these was the eruption of the volcano Nevada del Ruis that exploded in 1985 killing over 20,000 people in the space of one hour. It was through these specific revelations that we knew we were in direct contact with heaven. Around this time God showed us five men that He wanted to raise up. He said, “Once they were in their place of ministry we would see “most of the body of Christ won in Colombia.” We prayed earnestly for these men.

Looking back three decades later we can vividly see the answers to these times of prayer. For example, César and Ricardo were just two instruments that the Lord has used to bring revival to Colombia. César and his wife Claudia helped found the G-12 movement. In 1996 when the revival came to Colombia he and his wife were attacked and repeatedly shot by Communist guerrillas. They had to leave Colombia and flee to Miami. During his two years of exile the Lord added to his already burgeoning church 32,000 cell groups. The Lord raised up another brother, Ricardo Rodriguez, who began to influence many people. Recently when they got together at Christmastime there were over 200,000 people gathered together to worship Jesus in the park, something unheard of three decades ago.

There were many others whom God blessed as a mighty revival descended upon the nation of Colombia. When we went to Colombia in 1976 there were less than one half of one per cent of the population who were born again believers. Today, according to the book “Operation World” twenty percent know Christ. It was this revival in Colombia that sparked men in South Africa to start the World Day of Prayer. They reasoned that if God could do this in Colombia why not in other nations of the world. This revival is also causing great transformations in both the politics and economy of the nation. Their GDP is growing at a rate that causes other nations to envy them.

When we look back we see that one of the main ingredients that brought revival to Colombia were small intense prayer groups gathering together in different cities who prayed until they possessed an open heaven and clear communications from God that motivated them to pray with even greater intensity.

I just watch another movie!!! =) I really miss those days in TARC especially the exam periods. Those are the time when I actually have time to watch movies.

This year I think I've only sat and watch 2 full movies. One is Courageous and I just finished the second which is Fireproof. I really do hope the producers continue to produce such movies with really good values and a good message to it as well. Such movies keeps you thinking and it usually takes me a few weeks to process the message that they are portraying.

Books, movies, and holidays all spell fun and it always give a good feeling right after it.

By the way, the movie can be found on Youtube. See the link below. Enjoy!!

Jeremiah 29:11 is one of the difficult verses to hold on when you go through trying times. How can God have a plan to proper you and not harm you when the future looks bleak? When everything doesn't go your way. When situations around you just feels helpless, when you are a total failure and there doesn't seem to be a way out of the circumstances you are in.

It takes faith, it takes hope, it takes just trusting that He knows best.

HE chose the cross why wouldn't HE then save you only to throw you into a deeper pit! Lord I trust you because my thoughts are not Your thoughts neither are my ways Your ways.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know" Jeremiah 33:3

Yes! I pass my final CIMA paper (CIMA T4 paper). That closes one chapter of my life. I still have to complete my 3 years working experience but at least the stress of juggling between studying and work is now lighten. I still have my Greek and possibly more to come but now I can strike off one.

Thank you Lord!

Finally finish watching the movie I began watching a month ago. While this movie is about fathers, I am reminded on how integrity is so important. To be courageous to seek justice, love mercy, walk humbly with my God.

Life is short and we must treasure it. To live with no regrets! =)

we were made to be courageous
we were made to lead the way
we could be the generation that finally breaks the chains

we were made to be courageous
we were made to be courageous

we were warriors on the front lines, standing unafraid.
but now we're watchers on the side lines, while our families slip away.
where are you men of courage?
you were made for so much more.
let the pounding of our hearts cry, we will serve the Lord.

we were made to be courageous, and were taking back the fight.
we were made to be courageous, and it starts with us tonight.
the only way we'll ever stand, is on our knees with lifted hands.
make us courageous, Lord make us courageous.

this is our resolution, our answer to the call,
we will love our wives and children, and refuse to let them fall.
we will reignite the passion, that we buried deep inside.
may the watchers become warriors, let the men of God arise.

seek justice, love mercy, walk humbly with your God
seek justice, love mercy, walk humbly with your God

In the war of the mind i will make my stand,
in the battle of the heart, in the battle of the hands.
in the war of the mind i will make my stand,
in the battle of the heart, in the battle of the hands
