After such a long long time finally met with Uncle Jason Fong from SU(Scripture Union) again. First met him at the SUFES leadership Camp in 2001. My group leader. One person I have the respect and certainly one that inspires me a lot. Well, he spoke in church today. Very refreshing message. Titled The Matrix. He spoke on how we are to be IN the world but yet NOT of it. Taken from the text Daniel. Yeah indeed a good reminder of how we are to be doing things like any other ordinary person and excelling like Daniel and his friends and not uprooting ourself from society and living in some jungle. To triumph Within the matrix and not to triumph over the matrix.
My prayer is that in my pain not only that I am comforted and relieved but more importantly that through the trials and the heart ache that I learn something.
