I'm living by His grace each day. This post is dedicated to the one who made me. The one I call my Father, my Lord, my Friend and the one who holds me in His hand.
Looking at the past few months, I can only say that the Lord has been good to me.
Church
Well, one of the hardest questions I get from people is how is church? Now it is a love and hate relationship with the things that is going on in church. It is strange how you can feel so much for something yet you can also be frustrated and the only thought is to move on. Nevertheless, I am thankful that despite it all, I see how the little ones are coming to know HIM more and more. How they are asking questions that really matters and questions that counts. I am encouraged each time I see their child like faith. I have learnt to just take each moment as it comes.
Work
Despite not being a "somebody" the Lord has open doors of opportunity for me to grow and learn in the place where everyone is of Senior Level. I am thankful for my colleagues that has not only be kind enough to be coaching me with my work and assigning me with task that is not really for my level. Thankful that they even allowed me to go to Hong Kong for an attachment as well as the Regional conference when people with my position (level) will never be able to go, what more with only a year plus working experience and slightly more than a year being with the bank. Truly! Only God could have made it all possible!
One lesson that stood out for me during this time is faith + believe. If you were a trapeze artist and were skilled at walking across tightropes over high places, you might even be willing to walk across Niagara Falls. In fact, I would have confidence that you could because I had seen your abilities as a trapeze artist. However, if you asked me if you could push me in a wheelbarrow across Niagara Falls, you would be challenging me to put my beliefs into action. This requires faith, participation, and risk, which, until now, was based only on mental assent.
I guess that is something I am learning to really trust God and jump in the basket even when the circumstances ahead just seems to screams the opposite.
"Thank You! Lord"
Thank you for being the GOD of second chances, third chances, fourth chances.... x chances
