Decided that I should also put up some pictures of the things I have done this week which was suppose to be a less packed weekend unfortunately not. [Botanical Gardens, Tramlines Sheffield, Dinner with friends in my flat since my housemates are in Liverpool]

The boring me speaking will be at the end of the pictures.
They helped to wash up after dinner

Savoring a little of the soup

ABC soup (the easiest and tastiest)

Brinjal Sambal

Ginger Chicken

Tramlines in front of City Hall

Che remember Daisy? :P

Mum lots of flowers. Too bad can't ship them back

A little of French

They roast kangaroo and eat kangaroo and crocodile but when we eat chicken feet they go yucks!

So tempting....

Lots and lots of cakes, muffins. Delicious! Didn't buy any though.

Similar to Pasar Malam

The gal is so cute so are the little bamboo creatures

The bountiful collection of sweets

Everyone comes here and enjoy the music. Lots of young people and families

Tramlines at Peace Garden. First time I have seen so many people in the quiet Sheffield

Lily of the valley is a flower?

German Shepherd Saliva....

The mummy and daughter team :P

A mini pond with a mini waterfall.

I love the purple colour on this flower very much. Look at the tone of colours. God is amazing!

Nice place to have garden parties

The guy who founded such a beautiful place (you can really imagine the Secret Garden story here) is from USA! Globalisation?

The 101 candid shots

Christmas Present anyone?

I just love their gardens and parks. You can just lie down and enjoy. In Malaysia you will be sweating in the heat.

Looks a little like radish, octopus and cherry. Not sure what it is though

Looks like the fake white Christmas Tree we buy for Christmas

Walking through the different gardens of the world

Such a grand Green House

The start of the photo frenzy sessions

Entrance of Botanical Garden. This picture is to remind me I want to watch The Secret Garden

Cabonara Fettucini with Bacon and Egg

Bread with Cheese and Turkey Ham =)

Our old room keys and new room keys. Moved from Flat 47 to Flat 6.
The fridge is in a worse condition than our previous flat. Threw everything from inside out and clean the entire fridge =) So its much better than our Flat 47 now that its all cleaned!

Half of my stuff. Had to go up and down the stairs for 2 hours non-stop before finally getting all my stuff over to the new flat. Enough exercise to last me for the day.

The lush greenery
Ended up at a different walking path this time round which was nice. Had a more scenic view. Passed through water streams as well.

Don't really have the urge to blog at all. Looking back at the time when I first left the land of Malaysia, I was filled with hopes, expectations, dreams but you know after half way through the excitement slowly loses its energy. In fact I really just want to sit in the park going through my thoughts and things that are going around and take it all in. Everything is moving so fast. Doing assignments after assignments without really thinking through. So much movement, so much activity that I yearn for stillness. For a week with no activity, no visiting, no excitement rather a week of just reflection.

Its as though every minute of the day is filled with an activity either pre-planned or through randomness. If my time is not filled with doing something my mind is occupied with something from planning trips, to the end of the semester with the backpacking trip to Europe to assignments and lots more.

I do really appreciate the weather that brings a sense of calmness even though the wind is blowing unmercifully. I do want to make sure that my experience in UK is not one that goes by so fast that I am not actually living in it but running through it and I think being in a place where is new and the knowledge that it is pretty far and expensive to come back again makes it even harder as the temptation to just pack the weeks up with as much as possible is all to tempting

Sorry for the rather expressive blog. Wish I knew myself how to sort this untangled strings. Anyway for weeks now the thing that I am brought to time and again is Faith. Bible Study and also the sermons have been on this subject even quiet times.

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

Faith will require courage, faith, and action; also, it will require risk.
