I have been challenged over and over again to catch the heart of God. What really is the heart of God for this nation & generation? In the midst of all the busyness it's quite easy to slip in to the motion of "doing" things / being busy and losing sight on what truly matters. What truly matters is what matters to God. It's such a challenge to avoid circumstances or emotions rule how we live but we have a higher calling and for this purpose "...we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ," 2 Corinthians 10:5b

Paul says : Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good pleasure. Philippians 2 :12-13
The measuring stick is Christ. He is the litmus test that we test our every thought, intentions, actions against. And my prayer / hope is that I'll be found by God that the very substance within me after filtering out the gravel, sand and dirt is pure gold! To reach the finish line and hear the much awaited commendation "Well done, good and faithful servant.
And on that, I am reminded in today's reading and also in Pastor Daniel Tan's message today that once that God vision is given, to have the 'Gideon spirit' - work hard and not give up.

I like thinkers. They make me think. And I applaud their ability to plot. But I love doers even more. They inspire me to action. And it’s the plodders, not the plotters, who make things happen.
God isn’t going to say, “Well planned, good and faithful servant.” He won’t say well thought, well said, or well strategized either. There is one commendation: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25

8 years has passed since my very first conference in 2011.

10th International Financial Crime Conference. Bigger crowd every year.

Prime Minister was in the house.
And my very first time seeing a teleprompter up close. This is what makes the big shots look so professional in their delivery. Interestingly, only Tun alone uses the teleprompter.

Indian vs Chinese eyes. I blame it on my dark rings and eye bags..🤣

When colleagues are not just work mates but your friends.

So happy to be able to meet up with friends from yesteryears

The fruits are sweet but not as sweet as the sender. Thank you! I am truly blessed! God sent!😊 I was developing mouth ulcers probably from the lack of sleep but the apples kept the doctor away 🤣 And sender if you are reading this, I appreciate them.

Note : For now, all sweetness to be channeled to the Most High as an offering of pleasing aroma to Him. 😉

At a very Intensive Week, the lunch at SPTC was scrumptious. Food overload 😋

Sunday morning brunch with the mother and sister while waiting for the father at Brickfields... Sri Pandi's!

It is easy to serve without really caring. Sometimes it is a struggle to make sure that when I serve, it comes from the heart and not a chore / duty. There is no antidote to this except to look at the one who is LOVE.

I'm amazed that even when I feel so inadequate and unprepared, He shows up! Many a times, I believe He shows up because He loves them and will use whatever vessel to minister to His people.

Playing 'Follow the leader'

Listening attentively because they have been bribed. There is nothing 'Milo' cannot do. hahaha...

Now that they have been Spiritually fed, it's time to fuel up!

'Nenek' has seen the heydays of the Kampung. The state of the church today is a far cry from what it used to be. She shared 3 dreams that she had the past few months and I am believing that the 'pengantin' will come for His church once again.
