Life can sometimes be so utterly confusing and so unexpected. Like for example, as a child being a banker would be something I would have never thought of. Even in college, the thought of working in a bank just brings distaste. Such an irony that I did my internship in a bank and my first ever job after graduation is in a bank. The most unexpected or unbelievable thing about working in the bank is in the department I am in, Compliance! That never came across neither was it in my vocabulary. I really wonder what other impossible things and moments of I never thought of would happen in the course of this life.
Sometimes in life, there are things that you never asked for but its put on your plate. Sometimes, you can decline but somethings there is no other choice but to swallow the food set before you. Still, the outcome varies, there are times when the forced food turns out to be something you actually enjoy but other times maybe something you don't. Complain and moan but sometimes things are never meant to be.
Anyway, today will be one of those days that will be remembered in history. Its really so heart warming to see people standing up for what they really believe in and at least trying to fight for a better tomorrow. Whether or not there is another better way to speak out, its really knowing that the citizens of Malaysia do really love the country.
Today, I saw what it means to be a Malaysian. It means whether or not you are a Malay,Chinese or Indian you stand up together because we are Malaysians. Yes, we have our different culture, different values perhaps but we learn to push aside our differences for something better tomorrow.
When all in the world becomes more corrupt and sin is just another word, its nice to know that people still wants justice to be done.
If any party would want to change the standards in Malaysia for the better rightfully the citizens will come out and support. I believe at the end of the day, the citizens of Malaysia only wants their needs to be look after and for a fair, transparent and clean Government. I believe too, that no matter which country in the world, the citizens echoes the same.
May Malaysia be the people's land.
