Chinese New Year took over Valentine's. Flowers sales are down. Oh and there is less English Movies that usually is aired during Valentine's Day. How I look for to watch these free movies. :) Back to the usual Chinese New Year shows. Not too bad lar but prefer the English Movies. Hmm... will have to rely on downloaded movies.

Chinese New Year can be quite a hassle. Really weird that people only start cleaning up and buying new stuff and cooking loads of food during Chinese New Year. We should do it all year round that way when Chinese New Year comes about cleaning will be much easier I guess. Personally, I think Chinese New Year should be spent eating less costly food and sharing with the poor. Imagine the amount of food we can distribute to the poor with the amount we consume during Chinese New Year. Speaking of which I am GUILTY. Crazy consumption of food.

Finally, spring cleaning is done. Guess thats not the end of it. The following week will be full with visiting and of course our usual family outstation trip during Chinese New Year. Love it! Its the only few times I get to go out and spend time with my family.

The one thing I really love about Chinese New Year is everyone is at home together. Of course this means the noise level will be up. Yups and those painful Chinese New Year music. Wish they would have more meaningful Chinese New Year songs. Hate to say it but I think our friends have better Raya songs. Not to forget the sound pollution created. Oh and the smoke churned up. People take care of the environment. :P
