Don't pray away your problems. Pray an amazing manifestation of your God in your problems.
He could have added fortune to fame, but caring for neither, he found happiness and honor in being helpful to the world.”
George Washington Carver
I read this on our daily bread. It's so apt because as I look back at the events that took place in my life, each so called down moments were the times that shaped me. God is faithful. He is orchestrating all things at all time so that every moment is a perfect moment.
“In time of trouble say:
First—God brought me here. It is by His will I am in this strait place. In that I will rest.
Next—He will keep me in His love and give me grace in this trial to behave as His child.
Then—He will make the trial a blessing, teaching me lessons He intends me to learn, and working in me the grace He means to bestow.
Last—In His good time He can bring me out again—how and when He knows.
I am here—by God’s appointment, in His keeping, under His training, for His time.”
This new year was great. Spent some time in Fraser's before going back to work on Wednesday. It was good meeting up with the cousins and aunties.
Love reunions. :)
Well tried to do some baking and cooking but I guess I've a long way to go. Some photos from the past week.
One photo about my little bruise feet. One is from the phone that dropped on my feet and another from house chores.
It's back to the routine life from tomorrow onwards. Less makan makan. [I hope]
The chicken floss tasted good but I thought I should keep it in for a little longer. Was busy listening to a video and the next thing I know it was burnt.
Lesson learned. You cannot be too early or too late. God always has the best timing in life. Don't rush Him or dilly dally, you'll have over done " chicken floss. "
5th loaf !!
Whole Wheat Sunflower Seed
Chocolate Chip Raisin (baked twice)
Chocolate Raisins Loaf
And my 5th loaf is the Killer Toast.
I'm loving the bread maker. :)
Ok so I baked a loaf of bread last night (Sunflower Whole Wheat Bread) which turned out having a kueh like texture which my bro strangely liked it. My dog likes it too.
I baked another loaf before going to the gym. Chocolate chip Raisins Bread. Tasted much better than the 1st. However still not there yet. Not sure what's missing but I'm going to try again. Need to perfect the art of making bread.
I'm going to keep trying...
