My first car. A blessing that God has given. I could never have been able to plan it so well. A 7 years wait before I got the green light from the Father and my earthly parents.

Almost met all my prayer criteria except one which it is a new car. A red Myvi with multimedia display. Glad His ways are higher and better

Lesson ... To keep trusting Him

Sometimes even when there is no one to walk the journey with you, you just need to step out.

Ps Michael Koh's life is truly an inspiration. His stories are real. Normal ordinary stories but with God written all over it.

I am encouraged to keep the faith.. That is okay to struggle but to continue to keep my mind stayed upon the one true God.

After contemplating and lots of hesitation I brave myself to have a photo with him as a demonstration / sign that it is possible for me too to have a life with a legacy of faith. A walk with God and to live a life wholeheartedly for God. Thank God for Hou who obliged and help me take this photo.

It's the start of another month. The month of June has been a month of so much food and lots of meeting up. Looks like the month of July needs to be a month of cutting back on food.

Ever since the Philips pressure cooker made its way home, I've been on a cooking rampage. The good side is the whole family is eating home cooked food while the downside is I tend to eat more because I usually cook the food I love.

Owh well I need to maintain balance! Here's to a healthier July (I hope)

I was asked at the 11th hour to teach at the OA village. It's only my second time there. Only two of us Edwin and myself to a crowd of 28 people. I did it anyway because I want to say yes to God and it was an amazing experience. Thank God for blessing the time with the youth and children.

Don't know what's up ahead but trusting Him! 

There are days when the worries and cares of this world just throws you off balance. You can't quite make up what's ahead and you don't know what's next. That is when it's important to remember that it is the 'who' that holds tomorrow that really matters.

I'm noting this down because I am quick to forget that the 'who' who holds my tomorrow is more than able and will bring what He has said to pass.

Simple daily purchase. Something I can afford but yet I didn't want to get it unless God is in it. So I said.. 'God when it's RM500, I'll get it. It was RM800 when I first saw it.

As I waited the price didn't drop. Days became weeks, weeks became months and I totally forgot about it until my colleague bought it and she was happy she bought it at RM600+ December 2017. Then when she came back from her surgery we saw it at Sogo at RM568. I was tempted to jump at it but it wasn't RM500.

Finally last Sunday (prob 4 months since I last saw it at Sogo) totally unplanned visit to Aeon Big at Mid Valley. First stop saw it at RM520 and I was jumping already. Deciding I'm going to buy it and walk in to the main grocery area and they were selling it at RM515. To the point I bought it at RM515 but God kept true to His character. They gave a RM20 voucher making it less than RM500 and we bought a rice cooker at half price. True to my kiasuness I check all stores at MV and online. SALE and they are still selling it for RM600+ over.

It pays to wait. Not for the sake of waiting but because when God gives, He really gives. Let me always remember who my God is.

Ever since HSBC days I've not done lunch with the cleaners at UOB. Finally after sitting in the bank for 2 years and 8 months, I move. Instead of the usual buying food for the cleaners for Raya, I took them out for lunch instead.
