Minutes, Hours, Days, Months can just pass by so quickly. It's already mid September. I can't believe how time flies... I can move from activity to activity without slowing down and giving much thought or enjoying the moment. Just going about 'doing' one thing to another with the occasional 'big moments' that disrupt my normal routine. But despite the activities and busyness, I'm thankful for the little moments (when I slow down enough to savour them). Each moment is precious even though time is short.

It would also be helpful if spotify would give me less choices... Just one week of random listening to spotify and spotify has doubled my Daily Mix from 3 Daily Mixes to 6 Daily Mixes. ... less choices pls... Though I've discovered some nice songs...

Well, some of my small but big love moments...

Didn't get to hike and or play badminton today but managed to finally catch up with Wei Mun after postponing it a few times. We went to Nanyang Cafe as she said the food here is good. The polo bun reminded me of the polo bun I had in Hong Kong but not something I would queue for though the queue is long.

I saw Ambrosia apples at Village Grocer and decided to buy a pack to see if it's really as nice as what Esther and Dalvin describes it to be. Verdict...... 🤔 okay taste much better than the apples I've eaten. Ambrosia does change my perspective on apples but I still love my stone fruits. But definitely these apples are not too bad... Mum and Hou likes it too.

Sometimes you just do random things like driving all the way to Klang just for Foo Chow (Hock Chiew) food @Jit Ben Restaurant. My older's sister brilliant idea but it was a nice short trip over the weekend. Quite different from our usual Bak Kut Teh or Seafood trip to Klang. Quite authentic and one of the better ones I have tested though I still prefer mummy's version of red wine chicken and sweet sour fish maw. 😍

Pre-Malaysia Day celebration in church. I must say I was quite surprise to see so many people (both young and old) in traditional attire. I guess it's uncommon to see a Chinese in punjabi attire that I had stares from the petrol attendant and the people at the massage parlour. I wanted to tell them, "Hey! We are Malaysians okay? What is so unusual?"

Went for Colin and Debbie's workshop session the previous weekend and listening to him again last Sunday. My takeaways - The impossible is possible. Leave the shallow waters.
Colin shared with me during the workshop that what is required in this season and age is to be able to think outside of the box. Creative thinking that comes from God for God given solutions. 😬 "Lord, help the uncreative me."

I quite like this photo. We look like University students.. 🤣😆

Okay "rush-ian" slow down and listen. God is working in the little things.

Heartbeats only happen one at a time, one at a time

You can't rush a moment so don't even try, don't even try
There's a symphony you're missing
If you only listen you'll find...
Big magic in the mundane

The big picture in a small frame
Everything is sacred when you take time to notice
Big love happens in the small moments
