I started praying for the nation in 2003 because a classmate was reading the necf 40 days fast and pray devotion book in class. Since then the 40 days fast and pray period has been part of my routine. Each year going deeper in Him. 

Ever since I accepted Christ at a Christmas eve party back in 1994,  I read the bible but not in a consistent manner i.e not from cover to cover. I would start reading the bible but will get distracted along the way reading parts of the bible that I prefer. [Psalms my absolute favorite] Then someone gave a reading plan and just to make sure I've read all parts of the bible thru, I tick the boxes to keep track but still not in a consistent manner. 

It was only in 2017, some 20 years after being a Christian during the 40 days fast and pray that I read manage to successfully systematically read through the bible from cover to cover in 4 months. Took me another 7 months to read the bible cover to cover for the 2nd time (just finish round 2 on 3 August 2018). 

Through these milestones, I see that God started a work in me way back when I was a child and He has painstakingly walk this journey of faith with me all the way. 

Relearning faith and going deeper in Him. 

O May it be said of me at the end of the age that I have lived and fulfilled His purposes in my generation, in the season He has place me here on earth.
